The magic of the holidays has arrived, and the Staunton, Augusta, and Waynesboro area is brimming with fun, unique, and family friendly events for the holidays. It really is the season to be jolly! The Shoemaker and the Christmas Elves The Shoemaker and the Christmas Elves

Where: The Wayne Theater in Waynesboro, Virginia

When: Tuesday, December 4th at 9:30am and 12:30pm

Cost: $7.50 per person


Enjoy a fun-filled hour of theater and a story with a heart, as Santa’s elves show a poor shoemaker the true meaning of Christmas! The show is geared towards children preK- 5th grade. Cherish Every Christmas

Where: Staunton, Virginia

When: December 8th, 4pm – 8pm

Cost: Free

Downtown Staunton is transforming into a winter wonderland with carriage rides, a tree lighting ceremony, a special arrival of Father Christmas by train, and more! Donations of sweaters, mittens, scarves, toboggans, gloves, and coats  are being collected for Valley Mission from 4:00pm-4:30pm that day and can be dropped off at the Staunton Train Station. Breakfast with SantaBreakfast with Santa

Where: Waynesboro Public Library, Waynesboro, Virginia

When: Saturday, December 8th from 10am-12pm

Cost: Free but registration is required

Enjoy a special breakfast with Santa at the library! Children of all ages will enjoy spending quality time with Ol’ Saint Nick during this favorite holiday event. Space is limited. Register by calling 540-942-6746.
